Here's the biography of my business VISIONS Steel Art in the Mat-Su (Alaska) It all started about ten years ago, with my German Shepard on a trestle with a train, and myself with a lot of luck. After some excitement I found myself hanging left handed off the trestle above a flowing glacial river, only then to realize I had a compound fracture of my right arm. It took a little time taking a look at my life, living in the City of Anchorage, life being too fast and too short, it wasn’t long after a move to the Mat- Su valley was in need of. In a 8 by 12 outbuilding the winter of “99” the first visions were formed. First one bend then another, that is where it all began, a all new style of linkable plant hanger, and the beginning of a new small business. With visits to local green houses a warm welcome was always at the door. With that and hangers in hand a local retail chain store was next on the list. Thanks to management and the Buy Alaska program, several thousand have sold to date under a newly issued design patent. Living in Alaska has it advantages, with the long winters darkness it helps us see the light. From local pet store displays to custom stair cases, a boxing ring to a six wheeled Toyota there’s nothing that can’t be done. At thirty below or three in the morning if someone need’s it fixed I will do what is needed to get the customer down the road. Visions, from fish on the wall, to Christmas decorations north on Highway 3. A Wasilla Rotary sign saying Merry Christmas next to poinsettias in sets of three. With Visions of a snow covered hill all lit in red, our donation of flowers will last long in one’s head. With the summer season not to far off, what steel designs are new to come. One new vision is to camp up a tree. Eye to eye with the birds, we soon will be. So in conclusion, for all new designs, just look to the north, for, VISIONS Steel Art --
